Chronic Pain

The approach is based on the biopsychosocial model in order to identify all the interaction factors that contribute and maintain the painful condition. The clinical process involves two steps:

  • Assessement​

    • Detailed Clinic History 

    • Osteopathic assessment 
    • Movement assessment

    • Quantitative sensory tests 

    • Questionnaires

Based on this collected information, a clinical report is drawn up for the therapeutic approach. 

  • Treatment

    • Osteopathic manual treatment  

    • Pain education – pain neurophysiology 

    • Sensory and motor rehabilitation

    • Exercises
